The Tarraleah Golf Course, is a nine-hole course in the Tasmanian highlands. The course is located at Tarraleah, a holiday village on the edge of the Tasmanian wilderness, two hours north-west of Hobart. The Tarraleah Golf Course is Australia’s highest, offering nine holes of mature fairways, first planted in the 1940s. Grazing wallabies keep the well watered greens trim and the drives are framed by mature eucalypt forest. Clubs and green fees are available from Adventure Tarraleah at the nearby Tarraleah Estate.
