Vic Four-Ball
The Vic Four-Ball Championship is open to all amateur golfers who have a valid handicap. The championship sees pairs compete at 21 venues for a share of $1500 worth of prizes and a place at the 36-Hole State Final. Qualifiers are held across the state from January-March. Players may enter as part of a women's, men's or mixed pair.
For metropolitan qualifiers, pairs will nominate their three preferred venues through the online registration process and Golf Australia will endeavour to allocate pairs according to preference as closely as possible.
Pairs will again be able to enter as many regional qualifiers as they wish with the field decided by entries as received.

Qualifying Round Dates: Multiple dates & venues between January and March 2022 Qualifying Rounds Format: 18-Hole 4BBB Stableford (men's, women's & mixed sections)
Eligibility: Males with a handicap below 35.4 and females with a handicap below 45.4
Entry Fee: Metropolitan Qualifying Venues $160.00 per pair (incl. GST) or $220.00 per pair (incl. GST) for early bird entry. Regional Qualifying Venues $100.00 per pair (incl. GST) or $70.00 per pair (incl. GST) for host club members
Inclusions: Light lunch, 18 holes of golf and a chance at $1500 worth of prizes

How are metropolitan venues allocated?
Once metropolitan preferences are closed pairs will be allocated venues based on their three preferences. Venues which receive excess 1st preferences will have pairs allocated randomly. Golf Australia will endeavour to allocate all pairs as high a preference as possible.
Can I play at more than one venue?
You can only submit one preference for metropolitan venues however once venues have been allocated you can enter additional venues if places are still available. You may enter multiple regional venues.
When will I receive the draw?
A full draw with starting holes and player information will be distributed via email one week prior to the event. The draw will also be available on the event golfbox page.
Is there a handicap limit?
The maximum Golf Australia Handicap is 45.4 for women and 36.4 for men.
What is included?
18 holes, lunch, a chance at $1500 worth of prizes and a spot in the 36-Hole State Final at Moonah Links and Portsea Golf Club.
Can I use a golf cart?
Metropolitan venues:
Golf carts will only be available to those who hold a medical certificate or are at least 75 years of age.
Regional venues:
Golf carts are available for all however preference will be given to those who hold a medical certificate or are at least 75 years of age.
Can I change partners before an event?
Yes. You must notify Golf Australia prior to the event to make this change.
Can I play another event if I have already qualified for the State Final?
Yes, you can however you will not be able to qualify again.

State Final
How many pairs qualify for the State Final?
The winning women’s and mixed pairs as well as the top two men’s pairs from each venue will qualify or the State Final
When is the State Final?
The State Final will be held on Monday the 21st and Tuesday the 22nd of March. Day one will be held at Moonah Links on the Open Course and will see women’s and mixed pairs play in the morning while men's pairs will play in the afternoon.
Day two will be held at Portsea Golf Club and will see men’s pairs play in the morning while mixed and women’s pairs play in the afternoon.
If I qualify for the State Final and my partner cannot play can I play with a different partner?
No, only the original qualifying pair can participate at the state final. You can choose to play on your own if you would like to or forfeit your position.
What happens if my handicap changes from the qualifying time to the time of the state final?
Daily handicaps are calculated on the first day of the State Final. Your most up to date handicap will be used.
