Vic Four-Ball
The 2026 Vic Four-Ball championship sees men's, women's and mixed pairs compete at various qualifying venues throughout Victoria from 1 September 2025 to 30 January 2026.
The qualifying venues will be club run, with entry price and prizes determined by the club.
A minimum of three pairs from each venue will qualify for the 2026 State Final. The State Final will cost $300 which includes green fees, lunch on each day of the final and trophies.
Qualifying Round Dates: Multiple dates & venues between 1st August 2024 and 31st January 2025. Qualifying Rounds Format: 18-Hole 4BBB Stableford (men's, women's & mixed sections) Eligibility: Males with a handicap below 36.4 and females with a handicap below 45.4 Entry Fee: Determined by each club State Final Date: Monday 17 - Tuesday 18 February 2025 Venue: Spring Valley & The Heritage Golf Clubs Entry Fee: $300 per pair inc GST Format: 36-Holes 4BBB Stableford Inclusions: Light lunch, 36 holes of golf and prizes Field Size: Minimum of six pairs from each qualifying venue

Where do I enter each event? Some events use Golf Australia's website to enter however most will take bookings directly to the club. Look for the 'EVENT DETAILS' in each qualifying venues event page to see whether GA or the club take entries.
What is the cost of the qualifying venues? Each qualifying venue entry fee and prize allocation is determined by the host club.
Can I play at more than one venue? You may enter multiple venues.
When will I receive the draw? A full draw with starting holes and player information will be distributed via the hosting club approx. one week prior to the event. The draw will also be available on the event golfbox page.
Is there a handicap limit for the State Final? The maximum Golf Australia Handicap is 45.4 for women and 36.4 for men.
What is included at the State Final? 36 holes golf, lunch and a chance at $1500 worth of prizes.
Can I use a golf cart? State Final: Golf carts will only be available to those who hold a medical certificate or are at least 75 years of age.
Qualifying venues: Golf carts are allocated based on each individual club’s policy.
Can I change partners before an the State Final? Yes however only one substitution can occur and they must meet the eligibility criteria for the event.
Can I play another event if I have already qualified for the State Final? Yes, you can however you will not be able to qualify again.
State Final How much does the State Final cost? $150 per player which includes 2 rounds of 18-holes golf, lunch each day and a wide array of prizes.
How many pairs qualify for the State Final? A total of ten pairs from each qualifying venue will qualify.
When and where is the State Final? Round one (Monday 17 February) will be hosted at Spring Valley Golf Club, one of Melbourne's famous Sandbelt courses with a layout that ranks among Australia’s best. Round two (Tuesday 18 February) will be hosted by The Heritage Golf Club, host of PGA Tour event the Heritage Classic with two stunning 18-hole championship courses.
If I qualify for the State Final and my partner cannot play, can I play with a different partner? Yes however only one substitution can occur and they must meet the eligibility criteria for the event.
What happens if my handicap changes from the qualifying time to the time of the state final? Daily handicaps are calculated on the first day of the State Final. Your most up to date handicap will be used.
