Rutherglen Golf Course is located within the township and is just a stroll from the motels and the Caravan Park. The golf course was originally established over '100 years ago on what was Quarry Hill. A watering system recycling water from the town's sewerage was installed on the golf course in 1997 and the Rutherglen Golf Course is now open all year round. lt is a course that provides a challenge to the experienced golfer but there are holes a newcomer to golf can feel comfortable on. Visitors welcome.
