Padthaway is located 45km SW of Bordertown and 60km south of Keith, on the Riddoch Highway. Padthaway is also the name of the wine region surrounding the town, which produces some of Australia's finest red and white wines. The Course features 9 white quartz sand scrapes and some alternate front/back nine tee mounds. The course adjoins the Padthaway Conservation Park and is characterised by the tall gums and scrubs which line the fairways here. The course closes from the end of September and is not maintained til Autmumn where the locals use the course as sheep grazing lands. It is a country style golf course, carved out of bushland. Visitors are welcome.
