Golf course

The Dover Golf Club Inc is a public golf course in Tasmania’s far south. Dover is an hour south of Hobart (81 kilometres/50 miles), via the Huon Valley. The Dover Golf Club, Australia's most southerly golf course, is a scenic, nine-hole course featuring undulating fairways and watered greens. You can play your round here while enjoying spectacular views over Esperence Bay to Bruny Island. Two greens are bunkered, there is a dam on the sixth fairway and the coastal winds can present an added challenge. Visitors to the course are welcome—you can perhaps join in the fun on the regular chicken run—and casual course fees are paid using an honour system. Holes: 9, Par: 68, Length: 4,634 metres Australian Course Rating: 64.
