Zoee Dolling appointed Chair of Golf SA

The Golf SA Board has appointed Zoee Dolling as Chair of the Association after Tony Timmins retirement from the Board after seven years’ service.
Dolling becomes the first female chair of Golf SA since Jan Sutherland OAM assumed the role of interim Chair (Jan ‘08 - Oct ‘09) after the merger of Women’s Golf South Australia and the Men’s South Australian Golf Association.
Dolling joined the Board of Golf SA in March 2018 filling a casual vacancy as a result of Sarah Chia (Golf SA Board from 2015-2017) being elected to the board of Golf Australia in November 2017.
Dolling is an experienced engineer with more than 20 years’ experience as an environmental consultant, offering strategic advice, environmental liability and due diligence evaluation, project planning and national and international program delivery.
She is experienced in negotiation, decision making and communication across all corporate levels from board and CEOs, and throughout multi-disciplinary teams.
Dolling has a passion for business, sport and family, is a member of Kooyonga Golf Club and has been the volunteer co-ordinator for the 2018-20 ISPS HANDA Women’s Australian Open, responsible for coordinating over 500 volunteers.
In accordance with Clause 10 of the Golf SA Constitution - Composition of the Board that states – there shall be a minimum of 40% of either gender in the total composition of the Board. There are currently four female and three male SA Board members.

Tony Timmins was appointed to the board in December 2012 and was elected chair in October 2016. Timmins led Golf SA through the change to the one management model effective 1 October 2018 which sees a service agreement signed between Golf SA and Golf Australia for the delivery of golf services in the state.
