Visionary of the Year nominated for industry award

by Golf Australia

Visionary of the Year celebrates gender equality in golf.

Golf Australia’s Visionary of the Year - an initiative to celebrate and reward the terrific work being done across Australia to promote gender equality in golf - has been nominated for an Australian Sport, Recreation and Play Innovation Award.

The Awards recognise initiatives to get people more active and Visionary of the Year has been selected as one of three finalists in the marketing and communication innovations category - for the packaging and communications of an opportunity in a manner that has innovatively encouraged more people to be active.

There are five other categories and the winner of each category will have the opportunity to be crowned the Overall Australian Award for Innovation at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Thursday 9th December.

Visionary of the Year’s nomination is welcome recognition for the initiative that will announce the 2021 winner tomorrow via golf.org.au and the Golf Australia Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
