Vic Junior Open champs crowned

Abel Eduard of Kew Golf Club and Commonwealth’s Tiana Wanigasekera are the main winners of the Victorian Junior Open for 2020.
Eduard, the Kew club champion, shot 75-66-72-73 to post two over par and win the boys’ title by three shots, setting up his victory with a brilliant second round.
Wanigasekera shot 75-76-74-72 to post seven over par across the 72 holes and won the girls’ title by a whopping 12 shots. She was the 2019 Spring Valley club champion.
A strong field of 115 boys and 24 girls contested the Open at 13th Beach and Barwon Heads on Victoria’s west coast.
