Vale David Martin

It is with much sadness that we advise of the passing of respected golf administrator David Martin.

David passed away on 2 April 2020 after a long illness. He was 66. David was President of the South Australian Golf Association (now Golf SA) from 2004-2008 and was a Board member of the Australian Golf Union (now Golf Australia) from 2006-07. After the merger of SAGA (Men’s) and Women’s Golf SA, David was appointed to the interim Board of Golf SA from January 2008 to October 2009. David was a member of Kooyonga golf club for over 45 years, was Captain in 1995-96 and President 2010-11. He was made life member at Kooyonga in 2013. David will be sadly missed by all when knew him.
