It is with much sadness that Golf Australia advises the sudden loss of a valued member last week when Dr Bill Young passed away. Bill was a long time member of Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club and The National Golf Club. Bill gained his State Level Referee credentials in 2000 and continued volunteering his services to Victorian golf right up until a couple of weeks ago. Over the last 21 years Bill refereed in Men’s and Women’s Australian Opens, countless pennant matches and Victorian Opens. Golf Australia extends its condolences to Lindsay and the entire Young family.
