Two in a Row for Marsters

Alex O’Dea and Armani Marsters have taken out the 2020 South Australian Junior Sand Greens Championship titles hosted by Blyth Golf Club.

2019 Champion Armani Marsters from Murray Bridge Golf Club won the Girls Championship comfortably by 10 strokes with scores of 76, 81. Peterborough Golf Club’s Alex O’Dea achieved great scores of 72 , 74 to take out the Boys Championship by 5 strokes.

For the first time, a stableford competition was introduced for those with a GA handicap of 18.0 and above. The girls stableford division was won by Lydiah Borowicki from Peterborough Golf Club with a total of 60 points over 36 holes. Brady Gray from Clare Golf Club won the boys stableford division with a 36 hole total of 73 points.

In the District Teams event, Mid North District won 21 shots ahead of the Northern District.
