Tea Tree members Bradley Cross, Matthew Cross and Ray Davey walked away from the Colebrook Golf Club with the Southern Country Shield last Sunday.

The trio won the event with a combined total of 235, a massive 17 strokes ahead of their nearest rivals New Town Bay Golf Club on 252.

Matthew Cross was the best of the Tea Tree crew carding a five-over 75, followed by Bradley Cross with 78 and Davey chipping in with an 82.

New Town Bay in second place was represented by Shawn Sartori, Robert Salter and Bradley Davison who returned 79, 84 and 89 respectively.

The Oatlands team of Rohan Barwick, Tom Burbury and Luke Dean won the net shield with a total of 224.

The best individual gross score excluding winning teams was collected by Tea Tree’s Nick Free with a nine-over-par 79.

While Tasman Golf Club’s Joel McKean collected the best net prize of the day with a 71.
