Tasmanians to contest Riversdale Cup

Joey Bower will be contesting this week's Riversdale Cup

A number of Tasmanian’s will be in action this week at Australia’s second oldest amateur 72-hole golf tournament. Royal Hobart’s Hallie Meaburn and Joey Bower, along with Wynyard’s Jack Lakin will tee up for the prestigious Riversdale Cup from March 4-7. First played in 1896, the Riversdale Cup’s notable winners include Aaron Baddeley (1999), Robert Allenby (1990 and 1991), Kurt Barnes (2003) and Scott Arnold (2008).
