St George boasts a well maintained sand green course with plenty of bending fairways and a few lengthy holes to test most golfers. Most of the layout is irrigated and the fairways are arguably the best on the western side of the Darling Downs. Tee boxes are well grassed and the greens have a good cover of sand and hold approach shots well. St George is an interesting and challenging course and with peaceful bush surrounds and $10 green fees makes it a must play when travelling in south-west Queensland.
