Adam Scott is chasing hard for his 15th US PGA Tour win after three rounds of the CJ Cup in Las Vegas. The Australian shot a third-round 67 at the Summit Club today to reach 18 under par, three shots behind American Rickie Fowler (21 under) and tied for third.

Fowler was near-flawless in today's 63 as he seeks his first win since 2019.

Former world No. 1 Rory McIlroy also is in the mix, second at 19 under after taking eagle at the last for a 62. Scott had just 22 putts in his Friday 63, and the flat stick was working for him again at the Summit Club today. He made six birdies and almost chipped in for eagle from a cart path at the par-five 14th hole, but he could not make birdie at the reachable par-five 18th and had to be content to find the second-last group tomorrow.

Scott's most recent win was the Genesis Open in February, 2020.

Cameron Smith also put himself in with an outside chance with a third-round 67. Smith, making his 2021-22 season debut, is 16 under par.

MIN WOO Lee soared into contention at the European Tour's Andalucia Masters at Valderrama in Spain today after a third-round 67. Lee, who has already won twice on tour, is in the second-last group for the final round at two under par, five shots from the lead held by Laurie Canter of England.
