Golf Australia and Golf New Zealand continue to monitor the viability of the 2021 Sanctuary Cove Cup, booked at this stage from 20-22 July at the Sanctuary Cove Golf Club. The event will only proceed if there is a high degree of certainty around a trans-tasman travel bubble and quarantine free travel, both ways, between Australia and New Zealand. A final decision on whether or not the event will proceed in 2021 will be made by both organisations, on government travel advice and the above factors on 15 April, 2021.

The Sanctuary Cove Cup is a Presidents Cup style-match played biennially between 12 men from Golf Australia and 12 men from Golf New Zealand aged 55 years and over. The event has been played since 2007 and fosters relationships between Australian and New Zealand golf. An equivalent women’s match is also contested.
