Due to the uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, Golf Australia advises the 2020 SA Women’s Country Week, scheduled to be played 21st – 23rd July, has been cancelled. The decision to cancel the 2020 SA Women’s Country Week has been made in isolation, beyond the current Golf Australia cancellation of events until June 30th. This decision has not been made lightly with multiple factors considered. Due to the complexity of SA Women’s Country Week, cancelling the event is the only way to give Host Venues and players any clear certainty. Host venues for 2020 will be rolled over to next year with the event dates being Tuesday 20th – Thursday 22nd July 2021. • Silver – Murray Bridge Golf Club (Murraylands) • Bronze Salver – Port Lincoln Golf Club (Eyre Peninsula) • Bronze Shield – Victor Harbor Golf Club (Southern) • Bronze Plate – Moonta Golf Club (Yorke Peninsula) Whilst this decision is regrettable, we thank Host Clubs, Districts and players for their support and understanding. We ask if you can please communicate the above to your members. We look forward to planning for what will be a wonderful event in 2021.
