SA Junior Masters champs crowned

Local star Amelia Whinney and Victorian Abel Eduard are the South Australian Junior Masters champions for 2020.
Whinney, 17, is in her final year of high school and is the reigning club champion at her club, The Grange.
She has been a fixture in SA state teams, recently won the state order of merit, and today she shot a closing 77 to win by eight shots.
Queenslanders Emily Martin and Sarah Hammett were runner-up and third, both representing Emerald Lakes.
Eduard is the club champion at Kew Golf Club in Melbourne.
His closing 78 this afternoon was enough to hold off this week's SA Junior Amateur winner, Queenslander Kai Komulainen, by a shot.
