The club was formed in 1955, with the picturesque 18 hole sand scrape course set amongst native timber on 83 ha of Crown Land, and which is the home to a large family of kangaroos, birds and other wildlife. <br><br> The golf season is restricted to six months of the year, operative from the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in September, as only the tees are watered, the rest of the course relying on mother nature to bring the fairways back to life after the long dry summer. Ladies competition day is on Wednesdays with a 10.30 am tee off, whilst Sundays is competition day for both men and ladies with a 12.30 pm tee off. Visiting golfers are always welcome at our course, any day of the week, and more particularly on our competition days. Green fees are just $5.00 for 18 holes.
