The Mt Macedon course sits on the lower slopes of Mt Macedon, set in land adjoining the Emergency Management Australia training college. Lots of Australian bushland surround the course with many golf happy kangaroos, several resident koalas and echidnas wander the course. From the opening hole, Mount Macedon presents a distinct challenge. While the course is nine holes, there are eighteen tees, many creatively placed to offer a uniquely different perspective to the hole the second time around. The Clubhouse is attended on Saturday mornings from 7:00am to 6:30pm and on Sundays and public holidays from 8:00am to 4:00pm .
