Minjee Lee is on the verge of her first win of 2022 at the Cognizant Founders Cup in New Jersey. The Australian had an eagle-birdie run on the back nine and closed out with a 69 to take a one-shot lead into tomorrow's final round ahead of Sweden's Madelene Sagstrom. She is at 17 under par through 54 holes and will chase her seventh LPGA Tour win tomorrow. On a wet day at Upper Montclair Country Club, Lee began with a three-shot lead, momentarily lost top billing, then nailed an eagle from 15 feet at the 10th to regain top spot on the leaderboard for the remainder of the day. "You know, I've been striking it really well pretty much this whole year," said Lee. "I've been working hard on my putting and working hard on everything, so it would be really nice just to see the result of a win."
