Minjee Lee has roared back into form with a withering finish on the LPGA Tour in Toledo today. Lee, Australia's top-ranked female player at No. 8, birdied three of the last four holes at Inverness Club to finish third in the Drive On tournament, her first start for five months after the Covid-19-induced hiatus in tour operations. It is her second top-10 finish of the disjointed season after she was tied-sixth at the ISPS Handa Vic Open back in February. Lee, 24, already a five-time winner on the LPGA Tour, shot a closing two-under par 70 and her four-under overall tally left her three shots behind the winner, American Danielle Kang. Birdies at the 15th, 16th and 18th holes helped push her into the top three.

The Australian is listed to play in the LPGA Tour's Marathon Classic next week ahead of the first major of 2020, the Women's British Open. LPGA leaderboard
