Karrie video wins award for Golf Australia
by Golf Australia
Golf Australia’s videographer Justin Falconer has won a major award for his acclaimed Karrie Webb video presentation.
Falconer’s ‘Be Like Karrie’, a collection of interviews and thoughts from other Australian tour professionals about the seven-time major championship winner, was produced in 2019. Falconer showed the recordings to Webb and filmed her response.
It won the ‘best visual presentation’ award at the annual Australian Golf Media Association awards announced at the AGMA annual dinner this week at The Australian Golf Club.
Other Golf Australia contributors including Mike Clayton, Rod Morri and Martin Blake also won awards at the presentation. GA digital and communications coordinator Kirsty Wrice was highly commended in the ‘best photo or illustration’ category.
The inaugural Peter Thomson Quill for career achievement was won by Mike Clayton, who writes regular columns for golf.org.au.
