Golf Tasmania (GT) is undertaking research to understand why fewer people contest state events compared to several years ago. In some cases, very few entries are received for these events when compared to the number of eligible golfers.

Many of our events form part of the Tasmanian high performance golf pathway. These also enhance golfers’ experiences and engagement in the game.

Ultimately, GT is keen to grow the number of people playing our sport, however we need to first understand why current entry numbers are relatively low.
