Flinders Island Golf Course is a nine-hole course located at Whitemark on Flinders Island. The course (par 71) enjoys picturesque views and provides a challenge for amateurs through to experienced players. Launceston Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in Australia having been established in 1899. It is Tasmania's oldest 18 hole golf course and in 2008 was one of the three inaugural inductees into the Tasmanian Golf Hall of Fame. The Launceston Golf Course is regarded as the toughest championship layout in Northern Tasmania. Its signature hole is Spion Kop, the 159m par 3 thirteenth with out of bounds on the left and a lake on the right. The tee shot over a steep gully must avoid bunkers on three sides of the green. 18 Holes, Par 72, ACR 71, 6013 metres.
