The El Caballo Golf Course is situated in Wooroloo, in the picturesque Darling Ranges, about an hour east of Perth, Western Australia.El Caballo is a championship course carved through the picturesque Darling Ranges, and the topography provides plenty of variety. It will test the skills of the low marker and present an interesting challenge for the high handicapper. There are eight lakes, many rock drains or ‘burns’, ponds, doglegs and bunkers. The fairways are tree lined and beautiful, but rarely flat. In many cases, if you hit long, you must be quite accurate to avoid running off into a gully or other hazard. Fairway bunkers are also stategically placed to test your accuracy off the tee. Most of the greens are elevated and require a cautious approach. Bunkers, some very deep, protect them in front and some behind as well. The greens are in great condition all year round.
