Eduard, Solanki lead Southern Junior Classic

Abel Eduard and Ashni Solanki take comfortable leads at the hallway mark at the Southern Junior Classic.

Eduard was bogey free this morning firing an eagle and five birdies to a four-shot lead into the last round. Eduard had a 10-footer on the last hole to best his lowest score to date but just missed. Noah Best and George Carasavidis are in second place on three-under-par.

Solanki also shot three under the card at Southern to lead the overall girls’ section. Tiana Wanigasekera is Solanki’s closest rival on one over par.

Claire Wu leads the overall net section by one stroke with net 65 over Ashni and Abel.

Congratulations to James Evans having a hole in one on the 16th hole!

Play will return to Southern Golf Club at 8:00am via a multi tee start.
