The Southern Country Boys’ and Girls’ Championships are being conducted next Tuesday at the Colebrook Golf Club.

Contenders for the boy’s title include Isaac Roberts from Riverside, Lachlan White from the Tasmania Golf Club and Royal Hobart’s Hunter Gillard.

While Hallie Meaburn of Royal Hobart, Launceston’s Jorjah Bailey and Mackenzie Wilson from Tasmania are likely to decide the girls’ championship.

The Country Association has also introduced a nine-hole development event which will see eight keen juniors tee off at the tail of the championship field.
