Community Instructor (& All Abilities) Accreditation
Golf Australia in partnership with the Victorian State Government - Together More Active Program is pleased to introduce the Community Instructor All Abilities Module.
Since 2016, Golf Australia and the PGA of Australia have been working together to expand the current inclusive coaching workforce through the PGA All Abilities Accreditation. With the addition of the Community Instructor, this will create further capacity in assisting these coaches or providing capacity in areas not services by a PGA All Abilities Coach.
This combined accreditation is open to:
Disability service providers, staff and volunteers
National Disability Sport Organisations (NDSO's) and their state bodies
People with a disability
Occupational Therapist and health care providers
What can you expect?
Two course learning path;
First course: 2.5-3-hour Community Instructor Accreditation - online module and assessment facilitated by interactive and engaging content.
Second course: 45 minute-1 hour All Abilities accreditation – online module and action plan

What will you receive?
Four years of accreditation nationally recognised by Golf Australia and the PGA of Australia, with endorsement from Sport Australia.
Insurance coverage under Golf Australia’s national policy.
An accreditation eCertificate
How much does it cost?
The learning path costs $99 (with the All Abilities course being offered for $0 for an introductory period)
Reaccreditation after four years costs $49
Pre-requisites:
Prior experience working with people with special needs
Working with Children Clearance (State/Territory guidelines)
Minimum age of 15 years
Can provide student card in place of WWCC if under 15, check above guidelines as some states require a WWCC between 15 -18 years
Only 18+ can deliver Sporting Schools programs
