Queenslander Robyn Choi has continued her push for a first victory on the Symetra Tour in the United States.

Choi, 22, followed up her brilliant, opening 63 with a 69 today to retain a share of the lead at the Symetra Championship played at the LPGA International club in Florida.

She shares the lead with Ana Belac of Slovenia and Peiyen Chien of Taipei at 12-under par.

Choi, from the Gold Coast, spent 2019 playing on the LPGA Tour but lost her playing rights and has drifted down to the secondary tour, but she is having a fine season that will give her a chance of regaining her spot on the main tour.

Meanwhile on the LPGA Tour, Katherine Kirk is the leading Aussie in the Shoprite Classic in New Jersey, sitting at seven-under after two rounds, four from the lead held by Japan’s Nasa Hataoka.

BRETT Coletta, Curtis Luck and Ryan Ruffels are among the young Australians contending at the Korn Ferry Tour’s Savannah Championship in Georgia.

Coletta (66 today), Luck (65) and Ruffels (69) are all inside the top 20. with Coletta and Luck, who has already won on tour this year, tied-third and just two shots from the lead. Symetra Tour leaderboard
