West Australian Joseph Buttress and Queenslander Haruhi Nakatani claimed the Tasmanian Junior Masters titles today at Ulverstone Golf Club on the Apple Isle's north coast.

Buttress played consistent golf to shoot rounds of 72, 70, 71 and 73 to finish two-under par and clinch his second trophy of the week after he triumphed in the Tasmanian Junior Amateur on Tuesday.

The Western Australian Golf Club member finished three strokes ahead of Queenslander Dujuan Snyman who stormed home with a stunning four-under par final round of 68 to finish runner-up for the second time this week.

Eight shots back from Snyman in third place was fellow Queenslander Andrew Park.

Meanwhile, Nakatini left the remainder of the field in her wake as she tore up the course to win by a remarkable 19 strokes.

The Surfers Paradise member covered her scorecard in red numbers as she shot rounds of 71, 75, 65 and 69 to finish 12-under par for the tournament.

Second place went to Victorian Amelia Harris at seven-over, while Queenslander Amy Hodgkins rounded out the places at eight-over.
