Following the recent passing of Australian golf legend, Bob Shearer, a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday 26 February beginning at 2pm at the Southern Golf Club (Lower Dandenong Road, Keysborough).

To assist in finalising attendance numbers and catering requirements, those planning to attend are requested to contact Southern Golf Club on (03) 9798 3111 (Press 4) by Friday 24 February, or via email info@southerngolfclub.com.au.

In line with the Victorian Government health directives, the following guidelines will be in effect for all persons attending the celebration:

• Persons over the age of 18 years must check in via the Service Victoria App and show evidence of their vaccination status.

• Persons must not enter the venue if their attendance is contrary to any COVID-19 issued health direction or any other law.

The PGA and Golf Australia’s sincere condolences are again extended to Bob’s wife Kathie and sons Brett and Bobby at this time. In addition to being a champion golfer, Bob was a thorough gentleman with a passion for golf, a friend to all and will be sadly missed.
