It is centrally located approximately 3 kilometres from the City Centre, and is equally suited to both high and low handicap golfers with the flat terrain also making walking a breeze, even though carts are available for hire
The course occupies 54 hectares of public open space land known and the Belmont Common, on the banks of the Barwon River and only kilometres from central Geelong.
The course is excellently maintained with greens having long been recognised for their extremely high standard. The majority of fairways are also now Santa Anna couch which adds to the overall enjoyment.
