Back-to-back for Prospect Vale
Prospect Vale are the 2021 Tasmanian women's pennant champions.

Prospect Vale Golf Club won back-to-back division one Tasmanian women’s pennant titles in spectacular fashion at the weekend. The Northern champions teed up and defeated a combined Burnie and Wynyard Golf Club 3½-1½ in Sunday’s morning’s final at Riverside Golf Club. Best for Prospect Vale were Tammy Hall defeating Serena Loring 2up, Deidre Panton routing Jeanette Loring 7&6 and Katrina Archer beating Melissa Coffey 2&1. Prospect Vale’s Julie Berne halved her number three match with Burnie/Wynyard’s Alison Brazendale. While Burnie/Wynyard recorded its sole victory through Sam Cotton defeating Lindsay French 3&2. Monday morning finals saw Launceston Golf Club defeat Ulverstone 3½-1½ in division two. For Launceston, Chri Arnott defeated Gaylene Melhuish 1up and Joscelyn Hewitt beat Sharna Prisell 5&4 and Judy Pedley defeated Kellie Gleeson 5&4. Mary Wyllie picked up the only win for Ulverstone Golf Club by defeating Jennifer Jago 3&1. While Launceston’s Annette Hibbs and Ulverstone’s Vicki Edwards halved their number one match. Seabrook Golf Club secured the remaining third division with a 4½-½ victory over St Helens. Best in the final for Seabrook Golf Club were Pen Evetts, Helen Daly, Michelle Poulter and Yvonne Lawrence.
