Avondale Golf Club is located in a quiet, secluded part of the Upper North Shore of Sydney and within walking distance of Pymble railway station. Founded in 1926 and located less than 16 kilometres from the C.B.D the Avondale Golf Club, is set in the leafy suburb of Pymble. Its lush greens and couch fairways wind through the native Australian bush, harbouring an abundance of bird life and a buffer against the encroachment of the outside world.

The privacy and sense of tranquillity engendered by the protection of the surrounding bush provides a delightfully distraction free atmosphere, making Avondale totally unique and is one of the most peaceful courses in the metropolitan area.

Although shorter than most championship courses, this 18 hole course is rated as a Group 1 course by the NSW Golf Association and the layout incorporates a number of memorable and challenging par 3 holes and picturesque long par 5’s.

The Clubhouse is heritage listed and has recently been restored to its 1920's ambience with extensive renovations.

Complimentary car parking, locker rooms and a practice driving range and putting greens. Avondale Golf Club is a private golf course and guests must be accompanied by a member.
