Aussies On Tour: June 29
by Golf Australia
It was another tough outing on the world's top circuit this week for our leading Australian men, with only three of eight qualifying for the weekend's action.
But it was great news for 2015 US PGA champ Jason Day, the Queenslander reeling off four sub-70 rounds to make the weekend for the first time in five PGA Tour starts.
In Utah, Victorian Ryan Ruffels continued to improve following the Korn Ferry Tour's restart with a Thursday 64 and Saturday 63 to be in the hunt heading into the final round.
But #AussieOfTheWeek honours go to one of our consistent performers of recent times, with Jamie Arnold matching Day's feat with a super 72-hole effort to crack the top 20.
Arnold climbs to 59th on the money list in this disjointed season and will seriously threaten the all-important top 25 with a few more #AussieOfTheWeek performances.
