Aussies On Tour: July 6
by Golf Australia
Only four weeks remain until the year's first men's major championship and it was another tough week for many of our Aussie men on the US's top two tours.
Bryson DeChambeau outmuscled the world's best in Detroit on his way to a victory weeks in the making, the American coming from three back on the final day to topple Matt Wolff.
The eight Australians teeing it up recorded just two over-par rounds between them but few could go low enough to challenge, as Rhein Gibson flew the flag as our only player to qualify for the weekend.
But once again, the Australians, led by an in-form Brett Coletta, gritted it out on the Korn Ferry Tour.
The young Victorian cracked the top 20 and finished just four shots back of the champion in a strong week, enough to earn him #AussieOfTheWeek honours once more!
