Aussies On Tour: December 16

Our leading Aussie trio of Adam Scott, Marc Leishman and Cam Smith were brilliant at Royal Melbourne this week, leading the way for Ernie Els' Internationals in the Presidents Cup.

Scott teed it up in all five sessions, while debutant Smith produced a moment to savour on Sunday when he kept the contest alive by rolling American superstar Justin Thomas 2&1.

Josh Younger continued his incredible form in recent weeks, backing up his NSW Open win with a tied-third finish on the Asian Tour in Indonesia.

But our #AussieOfTheWeek comes from the final stage of the Korn Ferry Tour's Q-School, as two Australians punched their ticket to the USA's secondary circuit for 2020.

A T27 for Sydney's Brett Drewitt ensured he'd return to the KFT next year, but a T21 for young Victorian Ryan Ruffels has seen him graduate from the PGA Tour Latinoamerica for the first time.

So for a long journey that we're sure has many more highlights to come, we congratulate Ryan Ruffels as our latest #AussieOfTheWeek!
