Tasmania's Play 9 Qualifiers

The Tasmanian Play 9 State Final was held this morning in overcast conditions at Launceston Golf Club. A total of 38 qualifiers (17 men and 21 women) from clubs from across the state who posted the best 9-hole competition scores through the period March-December 2020 qualified to tee it up. Well done to all players who competed. The following four players have won an all-expenses paid trip to the Play 9 National Final at Pelican Waters Golf Club during the Isuzu Queensland Open on March 13. 1. Women’s Winner - Glenda Attenborrow from Prospect Vale Golf Club with 22 points. 2. Women’s Runner-up - Caroline Johnston from Kingston Beach Golf Club with 21 points. 1. Men’s Winner - Jordan Young from Tasmania Golf Club with 17 points. 2. Men’s Runner-up - Keith Bradford from Prospect Vale Golf Club with 15 points. Nationally, 57,000 golfers played 392,000 9-hole competitions across the March-December qualifying period with 13 Tasmanian clubs represented in today’s final. To view the full results, click HERE
