2022 Tier 1 Rookie Squad applications open

The 2021 Tier 1 Rookie Squad included Ladies European Tour winner Steph Kyriacou and China Tour winner Maverick Antcliff.

Applications for Golf Australia’s Tier 1 Rookie Squad are now open for 2022.

The purpose of the Tier 1 rookie program is to provide support to male and female professional athletes who are in the first five years of their career.

Tier 1 athletes are considered the future of Australian golf and have the tools capable of achieving the program's objectives of winning major championships, Olympic medals and top-100 world ranking positions.

2021 Tier 1 athletes included the likes of Ladies European Tour winner Steph Kyriacou and China Tour winner Maverick Antcliff, while major champions Minjee Lee and Hannah Green, and Australia’s top-ranked male golfer Cameron Smith, were squad members in the early stages of their professional careers.
