Play in underway on the final day of the Vic Open at 13th Beach Golf Links, where Perth’s Hannah Green is chasing her first big win on home soil, and Sydney’s John Lyras hellbent on winning for the first time as a pro.

Green has won a major championship and twice on the LPGA Tour in America, but her only wins in Australia as a pro have been pro-ams and second-tier events. Her best finish in the Vic Open is third in 2018 but she takes a five-shot lead into today’s final round of the women’s event.

She tees off at 12.15pm with Queenslander Karis Davidson and another Western Australian, Whitney Hillier, 

Lyras, 25, from St Michael’s Golf Club in Sydney, has shot 64-66-70 to lead through each of the first three rounds, and is attempting to go wire-to-wire.

He tees off at 12.03pm with Dimi Papadatos and New Zealander Ben Campbell and all of them are in the mix for the three spots on offer in this year’s Open Championship at St Andrews for the top three finishers today.
