Queensland High Performance

High Performance Vision

To identify and develop elite Queensland golfers and assist them to maximise their potential on and off the course as they transition from the State HP programs into the National squad and beyond by providing, quality coaching, training environments, competition support, personal development opportunities and access to modern technologies and resources.

 

High Performance Objective

To produce players and Queensland teams that competes successfully in National Championships and National Rankings Events. From this point the player moves through the elite player pathway of National Squad Selection and Australian Team Representation at national and international events. Following the success at the National and International level it is then Golf Queensland’s goal to produce golfers who are capable of winning golf’s Major Championships, Olympic medals and achieving Top 100 World Ranking status.

 

High Performance Responsibilities

The High Performance programs of Golf Queensland provides a sequential and supported development pathway from talented junior through to elite international amateur levels. The Golf Queensland HP programs are supported by a strong team of committed High Performance Personnel.
 

QAS Applications for 2018 are now closed. Stay tuned for squad announcement.
 

The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) Golf Program is conducted with the assistance of the Queensland Government and forms the pinnacle of the Golf Queensland High Performance. The QAS Golf Program is designed to assist Queensland's most talented amateur players in reaching their full potential within the amateur golf ranks.

High Performance Managers Panel

The primary purpose of the Manager is to manage and coordinate the various logistical requirements of a team, and to maintain a positive environment so that the team can successfully focus on the task at hand with the least amount of distractions as possible.

Managers from within the Panel are selected to accompany the State Teams to contest National Teams Events including:
• Junior Boys
• Junior Girls
• Men
• Women
