WHO MIGHT WIN THE MILLION DOLLAR HOLE-IN-ONE?

It's the question on everyone's lips with the countdown to tee off this week in Mount Isa for the $1M hole-in-one challenge.

Mount Isa is the final destination of this epic event that has been staged across six Outback Queensland locations, spanning 1,347km during June and July.

"The inaugural Outback Queensland Masters is culminating in Mount Isa with a life changing opportunity - the $1 million dollar hole-in-one," said Luke Bates, Golf Operations and State Senior Manager - Queensland, Golf Australia. "The $1 million dollar hole-in-one challenge will take place on Sunday the 28th July at the Mount Isa Golf club with tee off following lunch."

"As part of the Mount Isa experience, there's three days of golf, with nine holes on Friday 26th July, Saturday 27th July and Sunday 28th July," explained Luke Bates. "The event will also include a dinner under the stars on the Friday and Sunday nights and a free junior golf clinic on Saturday morning".

GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER UNDER THE STARS IN MOUNT ISA?

Comedian Steve Allison will have you in stitches with his larrakin antics, while Catherine Alcorn with "a voice to die for" will perform her critically acclaimed role channelling The People's Diva, Bette Midler for the Miss Bette Outback QLD masters Special.

Australia's best-loved bush band The Bushwackers will be wielding their fiddles, accordions, mandolin, guitars, bass and drums to have everyone up and dancing to close the inaugural Outback Queensland Masters in true heel to toe Australian style.

"For non-golfers and spectators there is an Outback Entertainment Pass which is the ticket to enjoy the dinner under the stars and live entertainment," said Luke Bates. "Of course, for people who have a player or spectator pass, the live entertainment and dinner under the stars is already included in their pass."
