New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia all remain unbeaten after two rounds of the Australian Boys’ Interstate Series at Hartfield Golf Club.

The home side began the day in fine style after defeating ACT in their opening round, however the score line doesn’t tell the full tale.

ACT went into the final two holes with a 3-2 advantage, with Australian Junior Amateur champion Connor Fewkes and Josh Greer fighting hard to record 18th hole victories.

NSW were clinical all day to dismiss the Tasmania and ACT 4-1 in their respective matches.

Tom Heaton was outstanding during both of his matches, while Harrison Crowe and Jye Pickin recorded comfortable victories in the afternoon matches.

Victoria were narrowly beaten by Queensland in the morning 3-2, with the talent of Louis Dobbelaar and Lewis Hoath too powerful to overcome.

South Australia and Tasmania were the only other teams to record victories, with the boys’ again playing two rounds tomorrow.
