Golf Victoria CEO, Simon Brookhouse is pleased to be offering live coverage of the tournament.

“We’re thrilled to be able to deliver live coverage of the event over the weekend in 2016. At the rate the Oates Vic Open has been growing, live coverage feels like a natural progression for the tournament,” said Brookhouse.

“The Oates Vic Open is a golf tournament that is on the tip of everyone’s tongue not only in Australia but right around the world, particularly for its unique format. Iconic golfer Karrie Webb will be competing this year and it’s fantastic we can showcase the talents of Karrie and others such as defending champions Richard Green and Marianne Skarpnord amongst two world class fields of professional golfers.

“This initiative will not only give the event visibility right around the globe but will substantially improve the spectator experience for all who make the trip to Thirteenth Beach Golf Links in Barwon heads.”

A number of guest commentators will also join the broadcast including marquee players, Government representatives and tournament officials.

The tournament will be live streamed on the Golf Victoria website, www.golfvic.org.au/OatesVicOpenLive.
