HAVE YOUR SAY – Internet Surveys for the World Handicap System and the Modernisation of the Rules of Golf

Golf’s international governing bodies are the R&A and the United States Golf Association. They, in consultation with Golf Australia, are working on two major initiatives that will directly impact YOUR golf – a modernisation of the Rules of Golf, and a World Handicap System.

The R&A and USGA are conducting internet surveys on these two subjects – this is your chance to have your say.  Each survey can be completed in about 10 minutes.

Thanks very much for your assistance.

beleive now that the Lades want parity within the golf clubs there should be no need for separate teeing points as all players on the day should tee off the ONE tee.Isn,t that what handicaps are for?

All Australian Grading with Handicaps should be based on the following: Below/Scratch and single figure handicaps A-Grade 0 to 9 B-Grade 10-18 C-Grade 19-27 D-Grade 27-36 Women the same.

We in Australia have only just completed a handicap change,,,so we do have extra knowledge as to what is wrong with it....,,,,,, Firstly ,,,it is flattering the the mat Orit you of scratch and plus golfers....some low handicap golfers only have 8 9 Or 10 good cards where as others have 18 or more and yet there handicaps are similar Because your only taking the best 8!!!!!!. Secondly when a player gets to a Plus handicap the forumlar Now in place to determan the playing handicap for the day off the slope system reverses for plus golfers ie the plus golfer receives his shots on the easy courses and plays off a shorter handicap on the tough coursers,,,,, Only a shot in it but it is not right ,Thirdly the system is complicated and needs a computer ,,,,Forthly handicaps vary too quickly,,,,,and are manipulated by some...... and way would be good to a world system. But KISS keep it simple,,,(,,,,,,,) cheers and good luck 😜😜😜😜🏌🏻🏌🏻🏌🏻

This was supposed to be a great American team, but, aside from Justin Thomas, they barely turned up to the Ryder Cup. Read more
