Golf Victoria is pleased to announce the launch of a dedicated tournament website for the Oates Vic Open, which will be played 9-12 February 2017 at Thirteenth Beach Golf Links.

The new website (www.vicopengolf.com) will serve as a comprehensive hub for all tournament related information including both men’s and women’s live scores, latest news, video content, tee times and a dedicated spectator tab.

A major feature within www.vicopengolf.com will be the Oates Vic Open live stream. In its first year running, the live stream of the final two rounds was a popular addition to the 2016 tournament. For more than six hours each day, the broadcast attracted viewers from all over the globe to witness Georgia Hall and Michael Long be crowned Oates Vic Open champions.

The live stream will take a prominent placement on the home page and will also be accessible via the website navigation.

Golf Victoria CEO, Simon Brookhouse described the dedicated tournament website as a natural progression for the event which has experienced significant growth in recent years.

“We have witnessed the Oates Vic Open develop substantially over the past few years and we’re excited to be able to give the tournament a digital presence to match that growth,” said Brookhouse.

“With the event braced for bigger and better things in 2017, it is important to us to ensure that all tournament information is easily accessible and that users will be able to find everything they need in the one spot,” he added.

“In particular, we look forward to broadcasting the Oates Vic Open live stream through this new platform and reaching an even larger global audience in February next year.”

The Oates Vic Open is sanctioned on the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia and the ALPG Tour.
