It’s one of the world’s most remote and unique golf courses and, as a result, Coober Pedy Opal Fields Golf Club caught the eye of Skratch’s Erik Anders Lang.

Season three of the wildly popular ‘Adventures In Golf’ series has just launched and it hasn’t taken long for the team at Skratch to head Down Under to show off golf in the Australian outback to the world.

Launched today, Anders Lang makes his way around the world to South Australia in Episode 2 to tee it up in the opal capital of the world.

Founded in 1976, Coober Pedy is the only course on the planet that holds reciprocal rights with The Home of Golf, St Andrews - but that’s not all that makes it special.

From the scrapes made from oiled-down sand to the fact that the course doesn’t boast a single blade of grass, Cooper Pedy is one of the world’s truly special golf experiences.
