Aussies On Tour: July 1

Min Woo Lee AOT july 1

For the second week running one of Australia's young guns tasted silverware, with Queenslander Maverick Antcliff claiming his third win for the year on the CGA Tour in China!

In a great week for the Aussies, Maverick edged out fellow Australian Bryden Macpherson by four shots to continue his incredible year in Asia.

And NSW's Won Joon Lee produced the biggest win of his life on the Korean Tour, winning the Korean PGA Championship in a playoff!

Major champion Hannah Green withdrew from the Arkansas Championship to come home and celebrate her life-changing win, but a pair of her LPGA Tour counterparts picked up the slack.

Minjee Lee and Katherine Kirk fired identical scores across all three rounds on their way to a share of 18th on the standings.

West Australian Lee has now finished inside the top 30 in all of her last 10 starts on the LPGA Tour, with seven top-20s in that stretch.

But her younger brother Min Woo Lee takes out #AussieOfTheWeek honours this week for the first time, after a career-changing weekend of his own in Spain.

Min Woo overcame an opening-round 75 and three double-bogeys on Saturday to post a brilliant T23 result at the Andalucia Masters, the rising star earning enough money to lock down a European Tour card for 2020!
