#GoodLuckJarrod - post a message

The news that Jarrod Lyle was back in hospital for a third fight against cancer has hit many hard.

It’s sometimes tough to find the right words to express your thoughts, but as Jarrod begins another battle with acute myeloid leukemia, it’s important to be able to share your sentiment with a man who’s touched so many with his compassion off the course as much as his golf itself.

Close friends, passing acquaintances or just someone who’s impacted by Jarrod’s stoic attitude and never-give-up spirit, here’s the spot where we can all reach out and share our thoughts.

Jarrod Lyle
"I'm aware that I didn't have much to lose in the first place, but decided to anticipate what's to come and shave my head before it started falling out. Wondering if I'll get 'chemo curls' this time"

This #GoodLuckJarrod page is the place to share your best wishes with Jarrod and his family – and he’s promised to read as many as he can during his fight.

We encourage you to reach out and share your thoughts below with a man who will thrive knowing he has the support of a community that wants nothing more than his good health.

Write your note, sign it off with #GoodLuckJarrod and keep your fingers crossed.

If that still doesn’t feel enough to you, log on to and make a donation to Challenge, of which Jarrod is a proud ambassador, as they help with kids as they battle cancer.

Hi Jarrod, just wanted to wish you all the best for next week and the coming months. You've beaten this before and I know you can again. I also have a blood cancer, multiple myeloma, and am due to have my first stem cell transplant in February. I have found your story and blog both a great help and a source of inspiration, as I'm sure countless others have. Once again here's hoping your transplant goes well. Wishing you and you family all the best - I'll be thinking of you mate.

Hi Jarrod, we had the privilege of meeting you a few years ago when you came to Wisconsin for a fundraiser for The First Tee. We've always remembered how great you were talking to our son Marty the night of the banquet and then the next day on the golf course. While others were busy chatting with their friends from the Tour, you took found a way to make a great impression on a (then) 9 year old and make it a special event. We'll always remember and be rooting for you from here in Wisconsin, our hopes back then was for us to see you again at the US Open this year. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You got this mate! The Swab's from Wisconsin!
